Restant de marbre, un abri sombre
Le silence du ciel qui jadis chantait tranquillement,
Soudain se fait bruyant, se fait violent
De voyageur chassant il y a un instant
Me voici bête, chassée par le ciel enragé
C’est mon destin qui bascule
M’échappe, comme la sauterelle surprise qui gesticule
Au coeur de la bête, en pleine tempête
Battu par la pluie qui s’acharne
Par le vent « rentre dedans »
Comme un soldat qui perd son arme
Ainsi mon destin, ainsi mon chemin
Pour un long instant, demi déprimant
Face à moi les belles collines qui, sous l’orage
Sont plutôt… O rage, enfin imagine
Puis le village, Leconi.
Fin de l’orage, trempe mais bien vite accueilli.
Ce soir c’est Diarra, qui vient du Mali,
Étranger comme moi
Étranger par ici
Qui m’offre gîte et le repas.
Un peu le migrant accueillant
Parti lui aussi de chez lui
Laissant derrière femme et les enfants
Loin, bien loin, là-bas dans son chaud Mali
Ainsi Gabon termine
Ainsi Congo profile
Dans la chaleur et loin du vil
Par l’accueil qui, l’étranger, illumine
Entre la douleur et la saveur
Celle de la route
Entre la chaleur et le bonheur
Qui ôtent tous mes doutes
Ce tout qui fait mon Afrique
